 Tressa began her career as a baker after years as a nail artist in 2001. As a nail artist, serving high-end clientele Tressa would make house calls and bring her baked goods to her appointments for the clients to eat while they were having their nails done. They loved her baked goods and soon asked Tressa to bake deserts for parties and later weddings.
After working for herself Tressa then went on to work at Safeway in their bakery as a cake decorator. She moved to Duvall as a single mom with two little kids ages to start out on her own. After working at Safeway for two years, Tressa went out on her own alongside the bakery manager there and opened Snoqualmie Baking Company in 2003. In 2004 she branched off and continued as a wholesale baker, working out of a commercial kitchen, selling her goods to such vendors as the Summit at Snoqualmie and many golf courses around the greater Seattle area.
In April of 2006 Tressa opened Tressa's Bakery in downtown Duvall. She is known for her unique bake goods, creative cakes, and excellent service.
